Commissions

Commissions are a wonderful way to honor someone, celebrate a special occasion or provide custom repertoire for your group. If you're considering commissioning an original piece or a new arrangement of an existing song, I would be happy to visit with you about it.

Helpful information for me would be to know your desired deadline, the length of the piece, its voicing and instrumentation, level of difficulty, and any text or style ideas, if any, that you have in mind, if applicable. Once I have this information, I can give you a better idea of my availability and a price quote.

Pricing will vary depending on the scale and length of the work: I have been commissioned to write and arrange sacred and secular music for solo piano, vocal solos, instrumental solos, string quartet, men's choir and ensembles, women's choir, jazz vocal solos with big band accompaniment, vocal jazz ensemble arrangements, as well as traditional choral anthems either a cappella or accompanied by everything from piano to full orchestra.

Once we're agreed on the details, I will issue a contract outlining our agreed-upon terms and get to work.

Please contact me with your information and we can begin discussing specifics.

Here are some examples of commissioned works I have written.
