I have been using this collection of Nouwen's writing excerpts for Lent for several years, and every year my heart is encouraged, challenged, and stirred.
Though I don't know him personally, I consider Tim Keller one of my mentors, and have listened to his preaching for years. This is, to me, the definitive book on idolatry.
A great exploration of culture and how Christians can interact with it. Lots to think about and ponder.
