Thanks Donna! Your comment was helpful to me as I’m right now in the middle of all those “upcoming” projects from May!
One thing at a time and use the hours God’s given for His glory… very good advice. Sounds a lot like Matthew 6:33-34: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Thanks again. Continuing to pray for you…

Birthday Reflections
Craig, you have said all this so well. First, I am impressed that you are so goal oriented, but you get a lot done that way. Indeed, our worth is not connected to our productivity as God loves us just the way we are. I find each day challenging. I was just saying to myself about an hour ago, I have too much to do today. Then, reading this blog I realized that I just have to do one thing at a time and use the hours given me for His glory. You are a treasure, to God, and to my family!

(Show Me the Way, p. 110 - 111)
O Lord Jesus Christ,
you who forgave the sins of the paralytic
before you let him walk again,
I pray that this Lenten period
may make me more aware
of your forgiving presence in my life
and less concerned about performing well
in the eyes of my world.
Let me recognize you
at that virginal point in the depth of my heart
where you dwell and heals me.
Let me experience you in that center of my being
from which you want to teach and guide me.
Let me know you as my loving brother
who holds nothing—
not even my worst sins—
against me,
but who wants to touch me in a gentle embrace.
Take away the many fears, suspicions, and doubts
by which I prevent you from being my Lord,
and give me the courage and freedom
to appear naked and vulnerable
in the light of your presence,
confident in your unfathomable mercy.
I know how great my resistance is,
how quickly I choose the darkness
instead of the light.
But I also know that you keep calling
me into the light,
where I can see no only my sins
but your gracious face as well.
Be with me every hour of my days.
Praise and glory to you, now and forever.
Amen.
