Thanks Donna! Your comment was helpful to me as I’m right now in the middle of all those “upcoming” projects from May!
One thing at a time and use the hours God’s given for His glory… very good advice. Sounds a lot like Matthew 6:33-34: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Thanks again. Continuing to pray for you…

Birthday Reflections
Craig, you have said all this so well. First, I am impressed that you are so goal oriented, but you get a lot done that way. Indeed, our worth is not connected to our productivity as God loves us just the way we are. I find each day challenging. I was just saying to myself about an hour ago, I have too much to do today. Then, reading this blog I realized that I just have to do one thing at a time and use the hours given me for His glory. You are a treasure, to God, and to my family!

After more than a year of countless hours with books, tutorials, screencasts, and coding, I am really, really pleased to unveil a new design for craigcurry.com!
I’ve known for some time that the site was due for an overhaul. It’s been six years since this site had any significant design changes.
One of the biggest hassles with the last version of the site was updating it. On more than one occasion I’d update something, mess it up, and then have to call the designer to fix it just to get it all working again. If I didn’t like the way something was laid out on a page, I would have to live with it or pay the designer to make the change.
I didn’t like that. So I decided this time around I would do the design and coding myself. I never realized what I was getting myself into, which is probably a good thing because I never would have gotten this far. It’s been one big rabbit hole (ala Alice in Wonderland).
Sometime I’ll tell you more about all of that. But I figure if my career as a free-lance composer dries up I now have the option of becoming a free-lance web designer.
I want this to be a really useful resource for church musicians and those interested in music making. But I need your input to make that happen. I want to know what you think! Let me know, good or bad. If you don’t want to post a comment then send me an email via the Contact section.
I have lots of stuff planned for the site, but I want to start with what YOU want to see here. So let me know. What do you think this site should have?

The site looks good! Congrats! I led a group of volunteers for the past 18 months as we updated the FBC website, so I know what it’s like to take on a project like this! What software are you using to drive the site?
PS Here’s the url to the new FBC site: fbc-wichita.org
Thanks Jens. I’m using ExpressionEngine. The FBC site looks great.
