craigcurry.com | Comments on: Book Review: Counterfeit Gods by Timothy J. Keller

For years, I’ve appreciated the preaching of Tim Keller, senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, frequently listening to his sermons via a paid subscription from the church website. If you listen to Keller for very long you’ll notice a recurring theme in his preaching: idolatry, the making a good thing into an ultimate thing, or as Keller sometimes calls it, “your functional god.”

hey Craig- great website! Love the design, layout, and colors…nicely done. And thanks for the remind as this is a book I have been meaning to read. I was first introduced to Tim Keller a few months ago by a good friend who gave me his book, ‘The reason for God’ and I loved it. Can’t wait to read this one. Wish I could’ve met you this past weekend but hopefully I will get out that way to see Amy again soon. Blessings!
