This is one of the most amazing arrangements of any song.  I loved singing it in the choir at my former church and have been trying to find it for ages!  Thank you.

All of These

Thank you so much for your ministry to people through music. The words to this song, ‘Do Not I Love Thee’, have such a powerful message. May this be our prayer each and every day.

Product Description

A minor blues tune with attitude, this song appeals to kids and adults alike and is a lot of fun to perform. In this SSAA version, released in 2004, more of jazz harmonies are included in the vocal parts, and there is a new vocal ending as well: the "Oh, yeah!"

Lyrics

Moses led his people out of Egypt land
Moses led his people, an unarmed, helpless band.
God led their way in a cloud by day,
In a pillar of fire at night.
Moses led his people; it was quite a sight.

Moses led his people, Pharah set them free.
Moses led his people straight to the Red Sea,
But Pharaoh's army was chasin' them,
Pharaoh had a long, long ride.
When he fin'lly caught them, they had no place to hide.

The people shook with fear when they saw Pharaoh near,
But Moses wasn't worried,
He lifted up his hand and watched the Red Sea stand,
And across the dry land they hurried.

Moses led his people to the other side,
Pharaoh tried to follow. He never should have tried
For God told Moses, "Stretch out your hand,"
And the waves began to pound.
God delivered His people, and Pharaoh's army drowned.

Moses led his people out of Egypt land
Moses led his people, he followed God's command.
God led their way in a cloud by day,
In a pillar of fire at night.
Moses led his people out of slavery.
Moses led his people, God set them free!
Oh yeah!
