This is one of the most amazing arrangements of any song.  I loved singing it in the choir at my former church and have been trying to find it for ages!  Thank you.

Everlasting God

Such a beautiful song. This has been playing in my heart and my mind all day everyday. Thank you very much Mr. Craig Curry for this song. May your light shine for God’s glory. Let His glory shine forever more!

All of These

Thank you so much for your ministry to people through music. The words to this song, ‘Do Not I Love Thee’, have such a powerful message. May this be our prayer each and every day.

Product Description

Beginning quietly and simply with an alto solo, this prayerful anthem of a troubled heart builds to a dramatic climax.

Lyrics

Broken, needy, You know my heart
Tired, wounded, torn apart
Shattered longings I place in Your hand
Kneeling, unable to stand.

Still I will trust You
Still I will sing
Songs of thanksgiving to my King
My eyes are failing
Your promise fulfill
And till then, I'll worship you still.

Hungry, thirsting, longing for more
Desparate, crying, pain outpoured
Lonely, struggling, I look to Your cross
You bear my grief, shame and loss.

(chorus)

The prayer of my heart in the midst of the storm
Is to see the Morning Star
I will heed His call to follow Him
Even though I journey far.

(chorus)

I will worship You still!

Supplemental Information

Year Published: 2005
Publisher Code: A 7901
Background Info: I wrote this piece in the midst of a clinical depression. I didn't submit it for publication for a long time because I thought it might be a little too honest, but I regularly hear appreciative comments from those who have sung it. This piece was performed throughout Romania in 2004 by the Singing Churchwomen of Oklahoma, who have also recorded it.
